ML's artwork done over an approximate six-month period of time—

January 18, 2016 – First session

ML made a house-tree-person drawing with color pencils at my request: there is a street (cul-de-sac) seen from above with two houses, trees, sidewalk, street, a child, a car and a motorcycle.

Observation: His perspective is from out-of-body.

February 15, 2016 – Second session

He’s doing clay modeling during the session. He started with doing one wheel, and then he made a motorcycle, making the different parts first and putting them together afterward. He willingly worked on smoothing the clay when I asked him to do so.

Observation: Taking the time to smooth the clay has a quieting, calming effect. ML had been taking PTS formula over the last month.

February 22, 2016 - Two gouache paintings made at home.

The first painting shows a red square in the center of the page with a dot in the middle of it and green squares around it.

Observation: At this point, he's been taking PTS formula for 5 weeks and Pussy Paws for one week. He was deliberately looking for fights with his brothers. ML got sick with high fever three days later.

The second painting shows a walking red man with a black eye. He looks like he could be kicking and screaming.

Observation: At this point, he's been taking PTS formula for 5 weeks and Pussy Paws for one week. He was deliberately looking for fights with his brothers. ML got sick with high fever three days later.
February 29, 2016 – Third session

During the session, he did two drawings with color pencils.

The first one (picture ml6) shows a rainbow that grows out of a treasure box and a sun shining on the right corner. He made the comment that the treasure box is there because of the rainbow.

Observation: ML had a high fever for two days and these drawings were done a couple of days after the fever.

It is interesting to notice that he made these two drawings following 10 days of taking Pussy Paws in the morning and PTS formula in the evening. It's as if he was representing the cycle of day and night in his drawings, with the soul as a rainbow in each drawing.
February 29, 2016 – Third session

During the session, he did two drawings with color pencils.

The second drawing (picture ml7) shows again a rainbow coming out of a treasure box with one standing tree and one that is fallen. A moon is on the right corner.

April 5, 10 and 11, 2016 – Gouache paintings made at home.
His mother emailed me the pictures and her comments were as follow:

April 5: “In his painting there is a (yellow) man with a (green) sword and an (green) alien with one eye. There is a tree at the bottom as well as the word Terraria (from a game he plays sometimes on his computer).”

Observation: Very strong base of earth in dark color that fills almost half the page. The tree is at the bottom, in the dark of the earth.
April 5, 10 and 11, 2016 – Gouache paintings made at home.
His mother emailed me the pictures and her comments were as follow:

April 10: “The painting shows a landscape. The yellow dots on the bottom represent gold, the big square on the lower right is a diamond, and the brown tree at the top is a treehouse. This picture is something that originates from Minecraft, again, another game he plays on the computer sometimes.”

Observation: The painting is like a cut through the earth, seeing in it three different layers, then four trees on the surface and one is a tree house. The trees are surrounded by blue (sky?). Very calm atmosphere.
April 11: “The painting is a view of Saturn and Saturn's moon as if one was standing on Jupiter. His father was helping Max with this one which was really nice. He was providing descriptive information for Max so he could paint the planets as accurately as possible.”

Observation:
The space between the two objects (planet and moon) is black, red, and a bit of dark blue. Does this represent a creative space?
He's been taking Pussy Paws and Holly for the last 3 weeks.
April 18, 2016 – Fifth session

During the session, he did a house-tree-person drawing in pastel.

The house and tree are grounded. He didn’t draw the person (and I forgot to ask for it). There is a sun setting and the sky is blue with black at the top. His comment was that the black at the top indicates that it’s sunset and the night is coming.

Observation: My impression is that he has come down into himself and he feels safe, showed by the blue he’s put everywhere. As in the blue of Baby-Blue-Eyes, we could see in it that his relationship to his father was fundamental to his feeling of safety to express himself.
April 18, 2016 – Fifth session

He did a second drawing based on a game for finding crystals and ore.
April 24, 2016 – Gouache painting made at home

His mother sent it by email and wrote:

“It's a painting of some Stik-Bots which is a new toy he is interested in. They come in all sorts of colors and he has painted a few of them here.”
May 10, 2016 – Painting made during school art class over a 2-3 weeks period.

The mother said that the children were directed in drawing forms of animals they had been studying and then painting them. His painting was chosen to print on a card (as well as a few others) for selling as a fundraising.

Observation: There's a beautiful sense of color and movement in his painting.

May 18, 2016 - Sixth session

During the session, he made one pastel drawing of a sea-creature (octopus) in water with algae. He said that he likes sea-creatures and fishes especially.

He then made many drawings in color pencils of rain forest animals that they had studied at school. (They are not included here).

Observation: He started taking Iris after April 18 session. As if he was finding ease in the watery realm of emotions.
