About the Flower Essence Society

  1. The Flower Essence Society (FES) is an international membership organization of health practitioners, researchers, students, and others interested in deepening knowledge of flower essence therapy.

    Founded in 1979 by Richard Katz, FES was incorporated as part of the non-profit organization Earth-Spirit in 1982. FES is directed by Patricia Kaminski and Richard Katz, who are married and professional partners.

    The Society has four major goals:

        1. To promote plant research and empirical clinical research on the therapeutic effects of flower essences;

        2. To conduct training and certification programs for active flower essence practitioners, and seminars throughout the world

        3. To publish the FES International Research E-Journal, detailing clinical reports, case studies, and plant research from practitioners around the world.

        4. To provide a communication and referral network for those who are teaching, researching, or practicing in the field of flower essence therapy.

The Flower Essence Society supports volunteer humanitarian aid projects all over the world.
