The Pioneering Research of Dr. Masaru Emoto

The innovative research of Japanese scientist Dr. Masaru Emoto has been published in two important volumes. Entitled Messages from Water , these remarkable books substantiate the relationship between thought forms and their effects on water in a succinct and aesthetically remarkable manner. Dr. Emoto demonstrates his research with photographs of water crystals that have been exposed to the effects of HADO , the intrinsic vibrational pattern at the atomic level that is in all matter, known as the smallest unit of energy, and believed to have the energy of human consciousness as its basis . HADO is synonymous with "Chi," a spiritual healing concept well known in Oriental medicine.

The constitution of the human body at maturity is 70 percent water. This "microcosm" of water within the human being corresponds with the Earth's larger body, which is also 70 percent water on its surface. Dr. Emoto believes that human conditions can be improved by the quality of the water contained by the body. The implications of utilizing water infused with healthful vibrations, such as flower essences, is phenomenal. Dr. Emoto's discoveries lend support to the validity of flower essence therapy and other forms of vibrational medicine that are intended to impart subtle healing patterns through the medium of water.

Dr. Emoto's first volume of work begins by presenting photographs of frozen water crystals from many sources, located both in Japan and in other areas of the world. Later chapters focus on the effects of various types of music on water, as well as the effects of emanations of words, based upon the ancient Japanese concept of KOTOTAMA , the healing qualities emitted from the "spirit of words." In addition there are photographs of water crystals exposed to celebrity names, the effect of various states of consciousness on water, and more detailed information on the measurement of HADO. Most remarkable are two photographs of the crystals of frozen Chamomile and Fennel waters (derived from the essential oils of both plants), which show crystal structures strikingly similar to the shapes of the actual flowers.

The second volume of these beautiful books expands Dr. Emoto's research by showing photographs of water crystals affected by electromagnetic waves, earthquakes, music, nature photos, and a spectrum of human feelings and prayers.

Dr. Masaru Emoto was born in Yokohama in 1943 and passed away in 2014. He had been certified and licensed by the Open International University as a doctor of Alternative Medicine since 1992. He wrote a number of books, and was President of I.H.M. General Research Institute. An informative article on Dr. Emoto's research and its implications is published on the web site of the Institute of Science in Society .
