Helping a 50-Year Old Man Reclaim His Spiritual Identity

"Henry" was a 50-year old professional who had spent his life in spiritual pursuits. He had traveled extensively in India, was familiar with various meditation techniques, which he practiced and taught for over 30 years, and had a general understanding of flower essences.

During our initial consultation I asked Henry how he felt about his life and spiritual journey. He spoke (rapidly) about feeling frustrated with his spiritual path. He felt that he had lost faith in the process and that he didn't know which way to turn, or which direction to take in order to achieve his long sought spiritual goals. Henry felt burned out at work, frequently felt exhausted, and described his nervous system as feeling “shot out.” He also said that he felt as if he were frequently “out of his body.” During his series of past relationships, he followed his partners' agendas, and often felt dominated by their personalities. He was not currently in a relationship and felt lonely. Additionally, he described feeling “many family sadnesses.”

After Henry committed to taking the prescribed remedies, to meet every 6-8 weeks for the next 2 years, and to learn the Divine Life techniques for enlightenment and Self Realization, I prescribed Clematis to assist in Henry's embodiment issues, Impatiens for his frustration, and Star of Bethlehem to transmute his sadness and to help temper his sense of spiritual isolation. These flower essences are contained in the Rescue Remedy/Five-Flower Formula and it was prescribed 3 times daily (arising, lunchtime, and bedtime), and also for acute symptoms.

Henry's second bottle was a constitutional formula containing Holly for Divine Love; Wild Oat for Divine Purpose; and Century , his constitutional remedy, to strengthen his own will so that he will follow his own agenda in relationships. Also included in the formula were Gentian for hope, faith and optimism and Vervain for supporting and strengthening Henry's nervous system. Henry was instructed to take this Constitutional Formula twice a day at breakfast and dinner, and after six weeks he would be re-evaluated.

I also developed with Henry, an initial set of developmental goals:

1. Assist in embodiment. A person cannot achieve higher levels of enlightenment without staying in his body. One aspect of enlightenment is an exponentially expanding state of Awakened Consciousness.

2. Use remedies to stabilize and strengthen the subtle body structure and nervous system to enable Henry to handle more light and prana.

3. Suggest simple living foods and super nutrition to further support his subtle bodies and nervous system.

4. Support Henry's constitution for a general harmonization of the entire subtle body structure.

5. Indicate meditation techniques to illuminate his brain, limbic system, pineal gland, subtle bodies, and personality.

6. Use higher-frequency vibrational remedies to enlighten his limbic system.

Henry described feeling a general calming down after just the first two weeks. Within 2-3 remedy cycles there was a dramatic shift. He reported feelings of optimism and buoyancy and no longer considered his spiritual path a failure. He noticed a tremendous amount of light around him and even noticed light in his brain and head when he slept. By the end of the first year there was a profound shift. Henry was enthusiastic about his spiritual path, he had a good working grasp of the Divine Life techniques, and his career was thriving. He felt totally in his body, more calm, and he experienced more grace. Henry no longer complained about his “many sadnesses.” Feelings of being present and grounded accompanied his increasing awareness of his surroundings.

Overall, the essences accompanied with Divine Life techniques had a profound affect in Henry's life. He is more emotionally stable and balanced, and most importantly, he is certain of his spiritual path and dedicated to his highest potential.
